The People Behind Your Personal Brand

When you hire Meoketing, you’re not working with a logo.

You sit down with real people — the one who interviews you, the one who writes for you, the one who combs through every line before it goes public. And I think you should know who they are, before you hand them your life story.

Who’s on the Meoketing team?

  • The strategist — the first person to sit with you.
This is the person who’ll ask you the most questions, and sometimes the ones you’d rather not answer. Their job is to find your positioning — who you are, who you help, what makes you different. Sounds simple, but most of our clients take a few weeks to land on it. The strategist is the one patient enough to sit there until you do.
  • The writer — the one who turns your story into words.
Meoketing’s writers aren’t the best writers on the market. They’re the best at catching a voice. Their job isn’t to write in their own style, but to write so that when someone reads it, they think you wrote it. That’s a hard skill, and it took us a long time to find people who could do it.
  • The editor
Nothing goes public without passing the editor. They scrutinize every line, asking “is this true?”, “does this actually sound like them?” It frustrates the writers sometimes, but that’s how the quality stays consistent.
  • The producer
If your project involves video, photography, or podcasting, this is their domain. They handle lighting, sound, post-production. Their job is to make sure you show up as yourself — not overdone, not stiff.

How we choose people

Meoketing hires slowly. Not out of snobbery, but because this work requires something hard to teach: attentiveness.

A technically strong writer who can’t read the person in front of them can’t write a personal brand. Because a personal brand isn’t an ad — it’s a human being. And to write about a human being, you have to actually hear them.

So in our hiring interviews, we barely ask about portfolios. We sit candidates down, let them listen to someone tell a story for twenty minutes, then have them write it back. Whoever catches the voice, passes.

A small team and that’s deliberate

Meoketing isn’t a big agency. We deliberately keep the team small, and take on a limited number of projects each month.

The reason is simple: building a personal brand isn’t a volume game. It needs time sitting together, it needs a writer who genuinely understands you. If we took thirty clients a month, each one would become a name in a spreadsheet — and we don’t want to work that way.

So if you reach out and Meoketing says “we’re full this month,” that’s the truth. Not a scarcity tactic.

If you’re considering working with Meoketing, here are three things I’d want you to know first.

  • We don’t recycle strategies from one client to the next. Every time we start with someone new, we measure from scratch — who you are, who you speak to, what makes your field unusual. Then we cut, then we sew. No templates, no “run the same playbook” formula. That’s what we mean by tailored communications — not a tagline, but how we actually work.
  • There’s a cat in our name for a reason. We love the way a cat works — no puffing up, no pretending to be fancy, just sharp, alert, and knowing exactly when to move. Good communication, we think, works the same way. Loud doesn’t mean effective. The right moment, the right person, the right approach — that’s enough.
  • And the slogan Meow Your Brand? Sounds a little odd at first, but it’s what we genuinely chase. Not million-view moments, not overnight virality. It’s your brand finding its own voice — steady enough to go the distance, distinct enough not to blend in.

If you’d like to meet the team, just reach out to Meoketing — the first 30-minute consultation is free, so you can understand things clearly before deciding.
